Not everyone wants to play a guitar, why do you think this game was made? For people who either don't have access to a guitar, or don't want to learn how to play one but still want to play a game that mimics it. Especially when playing a song from your favorite band.

With dexterity like that, I wonder why kids like this don't pick up a real guitar and work with that rather then a game that I see as having a shelf life.

I never said he had to. I was saying that because most people who play guitar hero can't play a real guitar, and people who play guitar can't play guitar hero. I wasn't "hating". Why get so defensive over a video game?
